    2025 TeLinde Lecturer Jose “Tony” Carugno, MD, FACOG

     

    The TeLinde Lecture honors Dr. Richard W. TeLinde who is renown for the Richard W. TeLinde Gynecologic Pathology Research Program’s annual lecture or event and the esteemed textbook, TeLinde’s Operative Gynecology, which is a leading surgical reference. Both honor Dr. Richard W. TeLinde, a prominent figure in gynecology at Johns Hopkins Hospital known for his research and surgical expertise.

  • Past Mark D. Walters Endowed Lecturers

    Dr. Mark D. Walters is a retired Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology from the Cleveland Clinic, known for his expertise in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. He was a prolific educator and researcher, a co-author of the standard textbook on the subject, and was instrumental in developing and popularizing procedures like the vaginal approach to hysterectomy and the Tension-free vaginal tape (TVT) procedure. This annual lecture honors Dr. Walters and is supported by the Mark D. Walters Endowed Lectureship Fund.
